Airports:
-CLE is about 15 minutes from downtown and 25-30 minutes from the Jewish community.  It's a focus city for Frontier, Spirit, and United.
-The RTA (Rapid transit train) at Brookpark station has free parking and is just 1 train stop (3 minutes) to the stop inside the airport. The train costs $2.50 and the schedule is here: http://www.riderta.com/routes/redline/schedules/current#WestboundWeekday
An uber from Brookpark station to CLE is about $10.
-Uber between the Jewish community and CLE is about $30.
-CLE off-site parking is about $9/day, on-site parking is $13-$18/day, and curbside valet parking is $25/day.

-CAK is 40-45 minutes from the Jewish community and located nearby the NFL Hall of Fame.
-Uber between the Jewish community and CAK is about $45.
-CAK parking is $7/day for long-term and $15-$18/day for short-term.

-PIT is 90-105 minutes from the Jewish community. It offers nonstop service to Iceland on WOW, seasonal nonstop service to Paris on Delta, and seasonal nonstop service to Frankfurt on Condor.

Hotels:
-There is a new Hyatt Place in Legacy Village within walking distance of the Jewish community, though it's located just outside of the Eruv. It costs only 5K points/night.
-There is an SPG (Aloft) in Beachwood, but it's 3.5 miles to the jewish community.
-There is a Sheraton on the west side by the airport (30 minutes drive), a Westin downtown, and an Aloft in the flats.
-There is a highly regarded Sheraton Suites by Cuyahoga Falls/Akron.
-There is a nice Hyatt Regency downtown (25 minutes drive) in a unique vintage arcade building and an excellent spa that gives hotel guests 25% off and accepts SpaFinder certs from Costco that can be purchased for an additional 20% off.
-There is a Hyatt Place in Independence located between the airport and Jewish community with a free airport shuttle.

Transportation:
-There is a subway/light rail connecting the airport with downtown, University Circle (where the Case campus and many museums are) and the Jewish community area, but renting a car is pretty much required.

-There are minor league Indians teams in Akron and in Eastlake on the east side of Cleveland.

6. Kantina (Cleveland uptown/University Circle, 4/5 DD stars): Burger, Kantina Burger, Shnitzel, Shnitzel fried steak , Cookie Dough Shake, Buffalo chicken, Felafel, and Fries are all very inexpensive and great.

7. Kinneret Pizza (Cleveland Heights, 3.5/5 DD stars) closes at 7pm.
Very good plain pizza, order with extra sauce and well done. Avoid the toppings. 
Excellent garlic knots. Very good homemade onion rings and cauliflower.  Sushi is very good when fresh. Good spicy fries and decent Eggplant Parmesan.  Soft serve Ice Cream with 8 flavor choices.  There is a salad bar and a lot of other choices on the menu.

8. Issi's Pizza (South Euclid, 3/5 DD stars) closes at 8pm.
The pizza is made in a conveyor belt oven. You'll either like it or hate it.  Try the felafel pizza with extra sauce and request it made well done.

9. Jerusalem Grill (South Euclid, 3.5/5 DD stars), closes at 9pm.
Good Shnitzel, good deli sandwiches like the New Yorker, on Mondays a Felafel+soda is $5. Decent burgers and subpar chinese also available.

10. Sababa (South Euclid, 2.5/5 DD stars), closes at 9pm
Decent Sushi, Japanese, and Israeli food.

11. Subway (Beachwood, 3/5 DD stars) close at 9pm
Typical Subway with parve cheese available.

-Ungers Bakery & Kosher Market (Cleveland Heights, Donuts: 4.5/5 DD stars, other bakery goods: 2/5 DD stars) closes at 8pm, but often may let you in later as they have bakers there all night long.
My favorites are the custard and cinnamon donuts. Others love the Miami and glaze donuts.

-Chocolate Emporium (South Euclid) has chocolates made on-site as well as other gifts.

-Tibor's (Beachwood) has a deli with lots of prepared food and good spicy homemade salami and beef jerky.  They also carry bakery goods from Ungers and from Word of Mouth which are excellent. They close at 7pm.

-Boris' (University Heights) is yet another butcher/deli with kosher grocery items that also carries Pride of the Farm Ice Cream.

-Heinen's (University Heights) has a great kosher grocery section with prepared meals from Contempo Cuisine catering and bakery good from Contempo Cuisine and Lax & Mandel. 

-Costco (Mayfield Heights) has a large kosher section.

-Amy Joy Donuts (South Euclid, Cholov Stam)

-Coldstone Creamery (University Heights, Cholov Stam)

-Mitchell's Ice Cream (Beachwood and Ohio City, Cholov Stam).

-Shannon Road Ice Cream makes the best gosh darn parve Ice Cream you've ever tried in your life, guaranteed.
Don't miss Peanut Butter Cup, Snickerdoodle, Cookie Dough, or Toffee Bar.

the bad news is that ungers was sold out of both the cinnamin and custard donuts. but I got someother cinnamin thing and it was very good. perhaps I got a mai'ain of the cinnamin donuts...

A pity, those donuts are quite good.
I'm not particularly fond of too many other things that they make.
