Think of Moving?

Airports:
  • CLE is about 15 minutes from downtown and 25-30 minutes from the Jewish community.  It's a focus city for Frontier, Spirit, and United.
  • The RTA (Rapid transit train) at Brookpark station has free parking and is just 1 train stop (3 minutes) to the stop inside the airport. The train costs $2.50 and the schedule is here: http://www.riderta.com/routes/redline/schedules/current#WestboundWeekday
An uber from Brookpark station to CLE is about $10.
  • Uber between the Jewish community and CLE is about $30.
  • CLE off-site parking is about $9/day, on-site parking is $17-$22/day, and curbside valet parking is $35/day.

  • The nicest hotel in Cleveland is like the Ritz-Carlton downtown. Marriott's Metropolitan at The 9 is also highly regarded, with a bar in an old vault. There is also a Hilton, Westin, and Kimpton downtown.

Transportation:
  • There is a subway/light rail connecting the airport with downtown, University Circle (where the Case campus and many museums are) and the Jewish community area, but renting a car is pretty much required unless you are just going between the airport and downtown.

very nice. Will keep saving up the "marriott" points. Check out this quote about Chef Kobi in the article: "He left The Ritz Carlton chain about a year ago to create a catering company, Milo, which he said means, “Who don’t want this?”   8)

Under what hashgacha?
Boston used to have a dozen hotels with kosher kitchens. Now we just have have the Intercontinental. I'm not convinced it's worth it for the hotel to have a kosher caterer vs outside caterer.. definitely not worth it for the client. (For a Kashrus agency it's also a bigger hassle) while that can put out a fine kosher product, they often don't understand the nuances of a Jewish event

Price is pretty much state set. Best selection is either at Giant Eagle Legacy Village or Zaggaras on  Lee Rd.
