Me and my wife, it was economy
I requested more than 48 hrs in advance.
I didn't call to confirm
I'm not elite
sorry about the late response.
This was international correct?
All you have to do is call and say you didn't get a kosher meal it's a simple as that. You can probably get $250pp.

El Al TLV-JFK inflight entertainment didn't work. Should I bother asking for something?

Touching US? As in to or from the US? Yes.

So try emailing DOT. Say that ELAL has not been responding to the complaint and send the original complaint.

Alright thanks for the idea. Just hope they don't file the complaint and make my next flight even worse!

TLV-USA flight on non European carriers with a stop in EU, that had EU-USA leg cancelled, is eligible for EU mandatory compensation?
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Why not? That's exactly what it covers. Ex-EU. That gets cancelled.

JFK-BRU (SN) flight cancelled due to mechanical issues. Couldnt re-accommodate for 2 days. 6 tickets in Y. What can I expect? EU comp?

They offered hotel but went home instead and reimbursed car service to and from.
Fair warning - Any PMs sent in response to forum posts are fair game for ridicule in public.

3 hour and 10 min delay on domestic DL flight due to equipment trouble. What is reasonable compensation to ask for?

When I got mine a few years back there was Amazon, Starbucks, Toys R us, Macy's and some other

Didn't have kosher LAX to PPT - called and the most he was willing to go was $100 pp , also a variety of retailers.

It came in 2 emails (2 passengers) and the retailers for each of us were different. 1 of us was able to choose a $100 AMEX GC so that was an easy choice. The other one didn't have that option but had different options. Starbucks , bed bath, best buy, nordstrom, macys, delta, and some other things we have 0 interest in. Total of like 10-12 retailers.

Family of 14 (paid tickets including 2 biz class) returning from TLV after shavuos on ElAl. Flight originally scheduled for 12:30am took off relatively on time (1 hour late) at 1:20am, but then had to return to TLV at about 3am and didn't take off again until 11:30am. Landed in Newark finally at 3pm, 9 hours and 20 minutes after scheduled landing.

Of course ElAl claims it was extraordinary circumstances and unavoidable so no compensation required. But they will be nice and give a $200 voucher per person ($2800 total).

Do I have a claim for more or should I just say thank you and take the vouchers?
