Lax-ewr flight was delayed 5+ hours for mechanical issues so I knew that my connecting EWR-Tlv wasn't going to happen as the layover was only 1.5...

Ua Agent rebooked me on lh via fra resulting in only a 3 hour delay of arrival in tlv but without ksml or an economy plus seat (got upgraded as UA gold)

Worth filing a claim over? Can any compensation be expected?
I think they would give you something.

Hi guys,
My wife just took a flight from NY to Hong Kong in business class on United. Ticket was around $6500. Her tv was broken on the plane. At times it would work for an hour then it would shut off for long periods of time. This is an 18 hr flight, if this was me I wouldn't know what to do. What kind of compensation do you think is right here from UNited..$6500 ticket, 18 hour flight and tv is broken...

Flew PHL-DOH-MLE / MLE-DOH-PHL on QR J and hard suitcase was damaged (cracks on the corners). Submitted a claim to QR on Friday and got the result today. They're sending me a check for the full amount that I originally paid for the suitcase.

You can certainly raise the "concern" to customer service, but keep in mind that you're technically entitled to nothing. I assume they'll probably toss you a $50-100 voucher or 5k-10k miles as a gesture of good will.

Yup! I don't think a US airline would've been this generous.

I think you can do a lot better than $100- more like $300-500

Is there any way out of a nonrefundable ticket when the plane leaves the same time, but the schedule now says it is arriving half an hour earlier?

Maybe he has a restraining order on someone and the person will still be in town for that half hour.

My Frontier flight was delayed from 955 pm until 645 am. Is the airline required to give me a hotel?

Flight to FCO was delayed last April. Spent 2 months arguing with Alitalia and they refused to compensate saying the rules don't apply as the delay was due to an unforeseen technical problem with the fuel valve. In June I complained to ENAC and they told me that they were referring it to the local branch at FCO.  Since then have heard nothing from ENAC or AZ, despite a couple of follow up emails. Does anyone have experience with this? Is it normal to take so long for a response? Thnx

How do I go about filing a complaint with the EU air passenger rights?

Had an OS flight delayed for 8 hours EX-VIE and OS has completely ignored my complaints/emails for the last 2 weeks.

According to the EU site I am entitled to 600EUR per passenger, any chance I can actually collect that?
Update: Received a call from OS customer relations, and they are sending me a check for $2007, (600EUR x 3).

FTR  I had to specify that I was looking to receive the EU air passenger rights compensation, they don't just offer it to you.
