United Global Services
« on: December 06, 2009, 02:21:59 PM »
I was wondering if anyone has experience on how to go from 1K to Global Services status.  I've been flying on United for over 5 years with about 130,000 miles per year and still just 1K.  The thing is none of my tickets are full fare tickets, does that matter?  Also, is there is a big difference between Global Services and 1K?  The only thing seems like they are higher on the upgrade list.  I guess that's important because it seems like there are so many 1K members now.

Thanks in advance.

My guess is that its because you dont pay full fare.

What kind of job do you have that requires that travel?
