Any other airlines status match to AA Lifetime Gold?

I just received my 1 million miler packet from AA.  I'm looking to leverage that over to other airlines via a status match, in particular Continental.  Anyone know if that is possible? If so, do they match for lifetime as well?  Or am I dreaming?

Also, i saw this book adevertised for $50, "Frequent Flyer Master,"  that promises to show you how to get "Complimentary Elite Status on your choice of Star Alliance airlines."  Anyone know what he is talking about?

It's a "gezinte" pain in the @#%µ, but yes, it's doable.

Those books are usually ebooks, with an average font size of 18, with lots of gaps, spaces, and copy pasted cartoons, and airine pics, to fill it up.

you might actually end up with one useful tip; but paying for that $50 for this tip, when you can surf on dansdeals, or FT and get even more info?
