I wonder the following:

1) Can I get out of the contract by first porting out to another carrier, so as to be able to keep my number, and ONLY THEN calling Sprint and saying that the fees shouldn't apply cause of the billing changes?

2) A month ago upgraded one of my lines with an early upgrade fee of $45 (remaining 3 lines are due for an upgrade on April), if I do the above mentioned scenario, would I be able to come back to Sprint right away and get new phones for all 4 lines?

3) How much time do I have to "get out" due to the new changes?

You got? When?

I highly doubt they'll offer anything remotely similar to this at the current time.

I had called them to get out of my contract (not for this resin but I was successful) and when waiving the fee I said I wanted to port my number and they said it only gets closed when billing cycle is over and I have till then to port my number out.
This was all true and I ported my number out of sprint.

1) once you port out your numbers you cancel the account...very hard to get around

2)you can mention to them that this is something that will make you stay

3)almost positive once you pay the bill that follows the changes

1) Thanks, netzih seems to have addressed this and it doesn't look like a problem.

2) You mean I should mention that I want to be able to upgrade the line that I just upgraded a month ago AGAIN in April?

1) I just wanted to clarify that you shouldn't port any numbers without speaking with them

2) I'm not sure about that. I meant tell them that you want to upgrade those three phones now for free and maybe ask them for $100 towards one of the phones as well

1) Thanks. Technically, even if I cancel by porting out, once they apply the fees I can argue that they should be waived due to changes in the agreement. No?

2 )I'm not looking to upgrade the 3 lines for now. What I'm mainly interested in is getting new phones for ALL 4 LINES although I just upgraded one of the lines a month ago.
