Still waiting for some more food suggestions. Does no one eat out in ch?
I had the seared tuna at Basil tonight, it was really good. Not sure it was worth the $36 (when you add sides, drinks, dessert, tax and tip it's like double that), but then again I'm not a foodie.

Had it med-rare, which probably isn't the best idea on a Sunday night, but at least I didn't get the tuna tartare. I loved the look on the waitress' face when I asked if they get fresh fish on Sunday, eventually she said she doesn't know but she could go check if I'd like, which I declined.

Which is the CH restaurant that I read about in the Jewish Week a year or so ago --  milchig restaurant that is supposed to be VERY nice, and sort of out of place (and not even in the 'heart of Jewish CH).  I heard it is very good....

Is the Jewish Children's Museum still nice?  We were there several years ago and enjoyed it....maybe time for another visit (with a Basil stop afterward).

I think they just finished a Voyage Through Jewish History exhibit, but I'm not sure it's opened to the public yet, as the grand opening ceremony is on April 1st.

Another great stop in CH is the Chabad Library Exhibition. Some really old cool seforim there (not just Chabad) The library itself holds some 250,000 books.

I think too many CH'rs overlook this place.

Not possible. The fish market is closed Sundays.
But that doesn't mean it's not 'fresh'. They could keep it in a semi frozen state from when they get it on Thursday or Friday. I don't think meat is any fresher then fish in this regard.

But meat generally isn't eaten raw.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I was pretty sure this is the case, thanks for confirming. Heads up to all those eating sushi on Motzei Shabbos and Sunday.
