@help me why did you repeat bubbles post?
It was the continuation of the “ECHO”. I guess it wasn't funny.

even I picked up on that, But maybe bubbles shouldve bolded CC

Slightly OT but I have the BP visa card and the station @ main st. gave me back cash to meet the cash price. It seems as they can't change the system to charge a CC the cash price so they have to do it manually, the same may be true for GC.

But at least you should be able to buy GC and get 5% to use during the 6 months that you don't get 5% for gas

How much money in gas do you spend monthly?
$1500 x 2 should be enough for a lot of people

if you need over $250 a week, you will need an alternitive plan. I fill up 2 cars one a week for a total of $115ish, so I'm o.k. (for now)

Just went to staples and got shell gas gift cards and paid with my IB. Went to buy gas and discovered that not only do u get the cash price but shell has a 10 cents off per gallon promo when using a gift card!!
3.99 cash
4.09 credit

3.89 using shell gc!!
10 cents off cash price and 5 points per dollar at staples is mighty fine IMO :)
Promo is for this month as of now

My BP CC gets me the cash price at most but not all BPs. I was also in a BP that charged me the CC price but gave me cash back.

this is prob worthwhile even if you dont get the extra 5% back, just $.10 off a gallon is worthwhile.

its a solid deal, 5 points at staples valued at 1.6 cents each plus the 10 cents off the cash price
if i were to just pay for the gas directly with IB it would be the cc price which most stations charge 10 cents more and i would only get 2 UR points....do the math
