To signup for credit cards you can click here or on the “other credit cards” tab on top of the DansDeals logo banner to view links for card offers. Then just click on the link to “View all card offers by issuing bank” and scroll down to view all card offers from the bank of your choice.

Matching is not guaranteed anymore YMMV

Personal Card
Public offer in the Bank is 50K+5K                            Sign up for the 30+5K offer. [/url]You can get matched to the higher offer by sending a secure message after you are approved to be matched to the 55K + $50 offer that you say your colleague received.

If its your:
First time: After you sign for the 30k + 5k for adding an AU offer, you can SM Chase to match you to the 55k + $50 offer.
2nd+: Sign up with a new Frequent Flyer # (FFN), and SM AFTER receiving the first 30k. Make sure to create the new FFN with United BEFORE submitting the Application to Chase, or they'll default to your previous number, even if you leave the field blank.

Make sure to add an AU to receive the final 5k, for a total of 55k +$50.

Business Card
On the business card, you can get matched to 50k.
Follow the same process as the personal card.
Note: There is no 5k bonus for adding an AU to the biz card, so when you SM, make sure to ask to be matched to the 50k offer, not a 55k offer which doesn't exist for this card.

It could take up to a week to get a response from the Secure Message Center

Here is a link within your United account, which some DDFers have reported to received a 50k offer for the Explorer card, and the annual fee waived for the Club Card.

If u have a UMPE card and NO status, then you can do upgrades from a coach pts booking to bus/1st pts booking for just incremental pt + taxes, no fees. If you don't have the card they said they'd charge the all-dreaded rebooking fee of $100/person (always the chance to get it waived).

How long after statement closing of the OPP/MPE do the miles post to your account?
realistically not the official guideline they say

United explorer card and us airways world master card churning question.
« Reply #6 on: March 21, 2012, 11:17:18 PM »
I wanted to know people's opinion on frequency of time for churning these 2 cards. Is it reasonable to churn them after every 3 months? For e.g applied in jan. Used onve. Got promotion miles. Then close it and re-apply. Also what should be time lag between closing it and reapplying? Any experiences sharing is appreciated for united and us airways cards.

Then close it and re-apply.

No need to close a card, just apply for a new chase card like the sapphire preferred or even a few cards doing a 3bm and then if you don't get approved call reconsideration and offer to shift the credit line on the united to approve the new cards you applied for.

Can you reapply for united explorer or us airways world master card without closing one you have? I think they will just not allow. They may say you already have one. Rather move line to some other card. Close and reapply. My original question was frequency of time to do it. Is 3 month reasonable to churn?

It's fine, UA.com is super slow with posting miles right now.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I didn't open a United account before applying for the UA MPE, so Chase created an mileage plus account for me, so I called them and they gave me my new FFN number, but in order to access my united account online I also need a PIN, Chase say they don't have it. So? How do I get a PIN?

A PIN for your United account?  Call United's MileagePlus Service Center.  Alternatively, you may be able to use the "Forgot PIN" link from United's home page.  In the future, you can create an FFN/PIN yourself on United's site and use that on your Chase application.
