I'm looking to book a convertible thru name your own price. They say it's for a Ford Mustang or similar (4 seats). Does anyone know if it will be a problem with a Graco Snugride 35 carseat. The dimensions are listed here.

Are these rentals legit?
I'm looking at rentals from YYZ for a couple of days, and they're quoting me <$10 a day.

Convertible with a baby, eh?
IME it has a rear seat as a regular sedan, plus the driver (and front passenger) seats can move forward, if needed.
The problem is more riding an open car with a child...

Why would it not be?
Rented a few months ago from Hertz through Priceline from FLL for less than $10 a day for a minivan! was $163 for 11 days, including taxes.
Just note that your <$10 probably does not include taxes, which is high A) at airports B) in Canada...

Why would that be a problem? Did it in Hawaii last year. Kept the windows rolled up to keep the wind out of her eyes and that was that.

Not impossible, i guess.
Perhaps you can answer (for OP) whether there was any fitting issues...

We had a Britax B-Safe carseat in a Chrysler 200. It didn't fit behind me at all (I'm 6'-8"), but it was perfectly fine behind my wife.

Can't talk for OP's car or carseat, but it should probably be fine.

Thanks for the info. I also drive with the seat all the way back. Did your wife have to move up her seat? How tall is she? I'm wondering if I can fit it behind my wife.

She's not tall, but IIRC her seat was moved somewhat back too and it was fine.

Two Questions:

1) If I rent through PL and I get a car with hertz/avis/national can I use my avis first/hertz PC number with it? Or will they only honor upgrades and bonus points when it is made through the hertz/avis website?

2) What is the minimum age to rent with PL 23 or 25 without getting any fees (i am a USAA user and not sure if I still need it...).

25.
If its a bid, the underage fee is included in your bid price.

What does that mean?
If you make a bid of $15 per day and you're 21-24, the underage fee is included in that $15. So if the underage fee is $12, you'd only be paying $3 a day (before taxes and fees) to the rental company. And being thats its very little, you'll have a small chance of winning the bid.

Usually no points, upgrades, rewards, or anything else (including car waiting as first/PC)
Moreover, the rep at Hertz FLL at the gold counter mentioned that I should have waited in the regular line... (he took care of me anyway)
They also need to enter all your info, as if you're not a member.
