paying one cc with another
« on: December 29, 2009, 01:44:20 PM »
Is there any problem with paying off one cc with another in order to get miles or points? Will it ruin my credit? And if i pay someone else's bill will  that effect either of our credits? thanks in advance

You can't pay a CC with another.
You can transfer the balance, but that costs $.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I dont earn any Miles but my $$ stays in a MM earning me %  for another month

Cap1 sends me every month 2 Transfer Checks attached to my statement, all I need to do is deposit 1 to my checking acct when that clears I pay off Cap1. the other I use to pay off the CC I used to open the MM with @ Citi

No Fees at all on those checks nor % if the statement is paid in full when its due. just did it today for $20k combined once again
