Opening a new one doesn't keep the typ from a closed card from expiring.
Don't want to downgrade bec it restarts the application rules.
Gotcha.

Gap/BR/etc gift card redemptions are on sale through 12/30 ($50 for 4.5K points) which is a 1.11 cpp, which may not be a bad redemption for non-transferrable (earned from bank) points.

How long does the transfer take from Citi to Singapore?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

How is that a 50% bonus?

Either way with the bonus it's 1000 TYP = 750 jetblue as opposed to just 500 jetblue

What LoLo said.  Typically it's 1,000=>800 so 1,000=>1,200 is a 50% bonus.

you're sure the standard is 1000=800? Because when logged out it shows the promo as 1000=800 instead of the standard 1000=500.

That's what the mailer I received said.

Just checked TPG:

Quote
1,000 ThankYou points = 800 TrueBlue points if you’re a Citi ThankYou Premier, Citi Prestige or Citi Chairman cardholder
1,000 ThankYou points = 500 TrueBlue points if you’re a Citi ThankYou Preferred Card or Citi Forward cardholder.

From what I've seen elsewhere they have interesting US domestic/short-haul options, but a real PIT@ to redeem...

Does it pay to redeem TY Points for the 1.6 redemption with the citi prestige card?  It is going down to 1.25 soon and I am wondering if it pays to hold onto the points as you can have better transfer options?
