I was expecting that post from you, was waiting for it since yesterday when I first posted it, and I was really wondering why I don't hear from you, but eventually you didn't disappoint me.

He is asking a valid question in a sarcastic tone. No need to avoid the question and get all offensive.

I edited my previous post with the answer that I already said a few hours ago. Sorry I was just making a cute (in my eyes) joke.

You are the OP of this thread.  Dan originally only knew about this bec of this thread.
So you knew about before Dan.
HelpMe was asking where you heard about it. If you don't want to say, then just say that. But don't say that you found out from Dan.

(I know Dan was the first to confirm it, but you were tge first to rumor it)

When did he say he heard it from me?
He said he was the first online to report it.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

My bad.  :-[ I misread his post.  I read "dd" instead of "ddf".

Now that takes us back to helpmes' question,
Do you have inside information or are you getting this from another site/blog and not giving them credit?  ;)

@meshugener – I am just wondering if you have an inside track to TYP. It would be a benefit to us all if you did.

If you'll call Citi's customer service and you'll hear "thank you for calling citibank, my name is meshugener, how may assist you today?" you just say quietly "THIS IS HELPME CALLING" and you'll get extra special good service. take my word.

So if I have a Citi checking account that does not earn thank you points is there any reason not to take the option of earning the thank you points? I never realized that this checking account could earn rewards or never cared too much because the points werent very valuable but now it may make sense to earn them.  Someone mentioned that they 1099 you for the checking account though.  Is that a strong deterrent ?

The 1099 is for sign up bonuses for checking accounts. The TYP’s you earn should not receive a 1099.

Hopefully this will get Singapore to hire CSR rep's. Did anyone ever manage to book a partner award on SQ?

I just dusted off an old At&t Universal Business Rewards card I had buried in a desk drawer. Never thought this card would hold any value to me. It was originally a aadvantage business card but I switched it over to avoid the annual fee. Small line (only $1500) and still not close to my go to card (1 TY point= 1 ba mile per dollar spent) as I still carry Starwood, sapphire, freedom, as well as a CO/United, BA card( 1.25 miles per dollar) and Aadvantage.

Still even though it remains my last card to use, I know If there ever is a need to max all cards out, the points are at least of good value now :)

lol.
Though TPG made me laugh when he wrote that he is encouraging the Citi Rep's to add AA as a transfer partner.
I believe he should keep up encouraging the Pakistani / Indian reps, and he'll get very far doing that.
