slightly OT...but when i was in BR before YT...they were selling this tote bag for $10 that gets you 10% off your bill for life if you bring it with you to shop. Best part was that the store (an outlet) was 40% off so the bag was only $6. Gap had a similar thing as well.

The discount will work with a store sale/offer but can't be combined with another discount coupon such as a 15% off survey coupon as well. Considering that it pays for itself if you spend $100 when you buy it and then keep saving and saving...its a win win.

I posted this earlier today in another thread, but thanx to meshugener I found the proper thread.

I got a postcard today stating that my banana republic visa card will be having bonus categories for the next few months

July-Aug - 3 ppd at gas stations and drug stores

Sept-Oct - 3 ppd at grocery stores and restaurants

Nov-Dec - 3 ppd anywhere besides banana/gap/old navy

Seems like their catching on. . . Competition is good sometimes.   :)
(I know their points aren't worth much but its still worth a mention)

Is this targeted? Anybody else get it? It looks like there's no limit.  . .

Wanna see a sample of crap?
There is no way to pile up points, once you reach a specific amount - 1000 or so, I don't remember exactly - they send you a Banana coupon of $$ in accordance to your points, which expires after a few months. No way to accumulate a big amount and wait for redemption till you have something to buy at their stores.

I got an offer in the mail for 5x points on dining and 100 points a day. Does anyone know if the 100 points also have to be for dining?
