i've seen ikeas's catalog and they have some cool stuff very well priced, but someone i know said e/t they bought from ikea was bad and broke, but others i know were happy with their stuff, so i guess you could just ask arnd abt their quality! good luck

All the dressers that I bought from Ikea are falling apart- It began after my first move with them. I also have some Ikea bookshelves that are still in pretty decent condition though.

Ikea is good for 1 time use. i.e. you cant move with it & it wont last long term. However as a short term solution they are great! You can get really nice stylish stuff for dirt cheap.

That being said, anyone know where I can pick up a nice, good quality leather couch in the NY area?

There's a good place in baltimore called pricebusters owned by frum yidden good prices not sure if they ship though.

if you go to any jewish chassan kalla store a leather couch with 2 built in recliners costs around 600 delivered!!!  its a very fair price
