Here goes, I have 110,000 points with AmEx-gold, 171,000 US.Air points. I have been hoarding my AmEx points thinking I could use them in combination with USAir… well you know where this is going? I haven’t paid attention to who US Air partnered with. How can I transfer points into US Air so I can get first class to and from Europe? I do have 64,000 Hilton points (terrible conversion). I also am a Starwoods member but I don't have any points with them. I have booked a Cruise thru US Air, do you think that would give me any leeway with upgrades? Yes I do have the USAir MC.

HOW ABOUT USE AMEX FOR A ONE WAY BA FROM EUROPE ( MAY SAVE SOME FUEL / TAX THIS WAY ) AND A ONE WAY WITH US AIR --- I DO NOT FOLLOW US AIR AT ALL BUT I THINK THEY HAVE ONE WAY --- sorry about caps

Amx now has a bonus offer to transfer point from MR to BA

Exactly, no one way.  I have seats reserve (being held until Monday) if I can come up with the points.... 100,000, which I have more than enough with AmEx  :'(.  I'm traveling with friends who of course were able to get their seats because of Platinum status.
