For those of you flying out of LGA, I'm sitting now in the Delta lounge even though I'm flying NWA now that they merged. The Delta lounge is nicer and has a better selection of drinks. The NWA lounge has better snacks (probably not kosher though) and free wi-fi. I have a built in Sprint card so that didn't matter to me. This lounge is quiet and nice, but smaller than the other lounges I've been in.

Always? I've seen reports that they sometimes don't ask for it.  Anyone ever try booking a refundable ticket for that day on a Clubs airline and cancelling it? I would assume it would work even if you cancel before you come to the airport as long as you printed your boarding pass.

I've always been asked for the BP.
You can refund a refundable ticket at any time, even at the airport.

I am referring to flying on an Airline that doesn't have a lounge and trying to access CO,AA, or Delta lounge.
If they usually ask for a boarding pass from their airline it seems booking and canceling a refundable ticket sounds like the way to go.

yes, but remember that some fully refundable tickets sometimes still have a non refundable booking cost...

you could buy some duty free to make up on that ;D

That would def. help. When you're drunk you don't know or care how much $ you're loosing!
On a side note, my mom flew TLV-EWR  on CO this week,  when she bought duty free (whiskey) instead of delivering it to you on the plane, they handed it to her on the spot. When she was boarding the plane they stopped her and said to either run and return it or to put it in her carry on and check that planeside.  (A little tip for sneaking in extra checked baggage- show up to the gate with it and when they say its too big to carry on they offer to check it planeside for free. You get it back with all the strollers right when you land!)

Where are there non-refundable fees and where is everything refundable?

You don't always get it with the strollers when you land. I was on a fully booked Jetblue plane and there was no room for our carry-on, so they checked it plane-side. When we landed it was not there, they told us it was by baggage claim, but it was not there either. We went to file a claim. Just as they finished the claim the carousel started rolling again and we got our carry-on, an hour later (We did get a $30 credit for the trouble, on a $41 flight...).

It is a very good trick though I think.
