Topic Wiki

This is the thread where you can ask any random question you have. Feel free to ask even the most basic questions that you otherwise might be embarrassed to ask. This is the thread for beginners, so veterans here will treat you nicely. Ask a beginner's Q in some other threads and no guarantee of that same treatment. ;)
People here want to help, so just have some patience, follow the tips below and hopefully someone will help you when they have a chance.

If you looking for a particular thread you once saw and can't find it, this is not the place to ask. Check out Help Me Find It and ask there.

How to ask a question in this thread:
Click the blue reply button at the top or bottom of the page, type your question, and click post!

Some helpful tips for eliciting answers from other members:
- Keep your question short and precise. No one wants to read a megillah.
- The more questions you ask in one post, the less likely any will be answered. People are wiling to answer a question or two, but if you ask all the questions that apply to your particular issue, you're expecting to be spoonfed. Members don't like holding out the spoon, so ask accordingly.

I'm having serious issues with Priceline and my itinerary for the Israel "glitch" tickets. I'm on a combination of United and Air Canada, and based on my reference number for each of those airlines, there's something screwy with the booking. (they both have an additional flight tacked on, and one of them doesn't exist). There were slight time changes to the original flight, and I think it messed everything up in their system. Priceline claims all is fine with itnierary but given what I see on the carriers websites, I don't really trust them. Been on the phone for way too long with them over the past few weeks, but at this point, I just want to make sure I'll be able to get on the proper flights Sunday. Any and all input is appreciated.

I know I didn't provide many details here. Don't want to write an entire novel here right off the bat.

Thanks in advance

I had that before as well. All turned out OK. It wasn't on glitch fare, but it was a trip to Israel with 2 different carriers. My guess is, it has something to do with how they structure their one way (on each airline) tickets. As long as you're ticketed, you should be fine

No problem. Obviously, make sure you're boarding passes are what you're expecting, and anything else that can be wrong. No reason to worry, but definitely a reason to keep an eye on it. You can try screenshoting the problem itinerary(s) and emailing Priceline with them attached. Not sure it will help anything, but if you're bored...
