where can I find out how many points I would need to upgrade on flights to israel, and how do I figure that from starpoints?

be careful when trying to Upgrade a Coach tkt, if you cant get it confirmed at the tim eof purchase you will go on a waitlist, which may or may not clear

So if you purchased a more expensive coach tkt to lessen the co-pay amount and it doesnt clear you end up paying alot more $$$ for the exact same coach seat you will be sitting in

I learned (not from personal experience) either to be flexible and book the flight on a day they can then and there confirm the Upgrade for or simply purchase the least expensive fare and pay more for the copay

If your BRU-EWR leg is really showing up as a paid Y ticket then it would be just 10,000 miles with no co-pay to upgrade to BusinessFirst.

No, but you can probably find someone to trade CO miles for Starpoints.

Cheaper fares are 20,000 miles AND up to $500 to upgrade.

If I have UA ticket in "B" fare from EWR - TLV 4/9/13 would I be able to upgrade to business with 40k US Miles.?

Either flight UA84 or UA90.

It says on US that there needs to be available. Can someone check for me if there is upgrade availability?(or tell me how to do it)

you cant not use US miles to upgradee UA flight

Full fare usually is just Y class.
