Starwod gold status- retain

I got an email that i will be losing my gold status, i havnt had an stays in 2009 and i have around 50 k points. Is there anything i can do to retain it? Is therea minmum points that has to hit the account and therefor i should do some churning or is it only based on stays and therefor if i dont have 25 stays by feb 30 then im done. looking for some answers please

based on stays or spending - I believe it is $20,000 spent on the card so churning won't help your status

Officially you need to spend $30K on the SPG AMEX for gold status.

okay, we shall notch it up to 30k, that should help, right?

I hope to be needing to make iy"h soon an expense for some tickets for $62,396.31.

however the amount is in EURO 44,100.

If we can work out something, worst case scenario I pay those EURO 44,1K, but not more.

it's all coded, you need to read it back to forth with atba"sh (meaning a=z, b=y and c=x, and so on).
Then you take the mispar koton of it, and convert it to alphanumeric value (meaning: a=1, b=2, and so on); be creative, and you will see the light....
