Seven Mile Market - supposedly the largest kosher supermarket in the country.

Market Maven (formerly Seasons) - great prices for meat and chicken, also good place for shabbos food

Only 1 Close and decent hotel to Jewish area (but not quite walking distance) is this Hilton Doubletree

Airbnb in the frum community:
Eruv Inn
Edelweiss - Located about 15 minutes from the frum community, practically next door to Ateres Elka wedding hall

Here and Here

Croustille Cafe French Bakery - French bakery with many delicious dairy and pareve bakery items.

Milk & Honey Bistro - dairy homestyle cooking

Goldberg's Bagels - very good bagels and free wifi.

Mama Leah's - pizza that is a bit different, but IMHO (Lunatic), the best pizza in Baltimore

Caramel's - pizza shop, also has sushi

Cocoaccinos/Pie 18 - cafe with sandwiches and salads, as well as custom made brick oven pizza

Playa Bowls Quarry Lake - "the original Acai bowl" - lots of great pareve options as well, delicious bowls

Pareve

Sushi Sakura
Cinnaholic Owings Mills - This location only was recently certified kosher pareve (across from the area Costco).

If you clarify for what purpose you may get a more specific answer.
For example:
A quick burger and fires on my way out of town: Kosher Bite
Nice Chinese place: David Chus
Deli Style Restaurant: Knish Shop
Want to eat with my fingers and color on the table: Dougies
etc

Alright, That'll shrink it down to David Chu's (Nice Chinese Place)
Umami (Japanese) or Serengeti.

I have a flight out of DCA, but I will be starting out in Baltimore. Anyone have experience going from Baltimore to DCA? What's the best way to get there? How long does it take? Any public transport options? How much will Uber/cab cost?
TIA

Have you tried this place Serengeti

From Great Kosher Restaurants Magazine:
We received some great reaction to the interesting and unique African style restaurant called Serengeti that opened a few weeks ago in Baltimore. Here is the menu including Chicken Mozambique and Chicken Mombasa. http://www.serengetikosher.com/?utm_source=Mid+July+2014+Blast&utm_campaign=UA-2584799&utm_medium=email

We went to Serengeti tonight.  Did the Prix Fix menu which is a bargain for the amount of food you get.  We started with the soup of the day, a South African beef and butternut squash soup.  It was very flavorful and had a lot of beef.  I liked it.  My wife thought the meat was too fatty.

Then we ordered the Curry Chicken Pot Pies for the appetizer, but they came out and told us they weren't available.  (Interestingly, we saw the owners sit down to eat with what looked like 2 pot pies.  Hmmmm.)  Either way they let us have one order of ribs instead.  Everyone raves about the ribs and we even heard the servers saying they're the most popular item. I wasn't impressed.  The texture was incredible but I thought the flavor started out overly tangy (a red wine tang), then got too bland/weird.  They did melt in your mouth though.

Then I got the Honey Chipotle Rib Steak.  Almost PERFECT.  It was 95% awesome.  Just a tiny bit too chewy, but I mean a real tiny bit.  I got "battered" fries on the side which are the same fries that they have at Accents.  My wife got the Chicken Mombasa with the Creamed Spinach on the side.  She loved the spinach but was too full to try the chicken so we brought it home.

For dessert I got the Lemon Tart and she got the Chocolate Mousse Cake.  The mousse was phenomenal. The tart was ok, I thought the filing almost tasted like an uncooked cake batter.

Overall, the ambiance was pretty nice.  It would be great if there wasn't a wall of windows to the shopping center.  The food presentation was great.  Wait time started out nice;soups and appetizers came quickly, but it took over a half hour for the entree after they cleared our plates.

I'll be going back.

The Prix Fixe menu is $50 for soup, appetizer, entree, 1 side, and dessert. I also got a coke for $2.50 (unlimited refills).  We spent ~$130 after tip.
