LAX - TLV with LAN

Hi,

I am trying to book a award ticket in business/first from LAX -TLV from March 7-16 I have MR points as well as *wood points. LAN tells me that in order to check availability on a one world partner I have to have the miles in my account. anyway around that? Also I am having trouble finding availability on most carriers would it help if some one with status booked it for me and I can can transfer the miles to them?

It's not worth using LAX kilometers to go to Tel Aviv unless you are willing to fly through Jordan.

How many AMEX and SPG do you have?

-Try calling AA and asking about availability on El Al or OneWorld, or check OneWorld availability online by signing up for a Qantas account.

-Sign up for an ANA account and check Star Alliance availability, or check limited Star Alliance availability on continental.com,

-Check Delta.com for availability or call them up for Skyteam availability

I have done all of the above nothing available. Would it help if someone with elite status books it for me and I will transfer to them MR points?

Search from NYC-TLV separately from LAX-NYC and use a stopover in NYC.  I can all but guarantee you'll find something.
