hey folks,
i've got about 170k on united, and my wife has 30k. we want to book a trip to australia in mid-march, returning late march/early april, but there are no saver award dates for the return leg - only going. is there any way to use the leftover miles in conjunction with cash for the return? or does anybody have any other ideas on how to minimize the cost of this?
