My wife and I burned through 6 x 1,850 mAh batteries yesterday navigating around BOS and PIT.  Yay for spare batteries!
Sounds like it's time to invest $5 in a car charger :P

I know impressive feat :D
Between MP3, GPS, and internet usage, etc. especially on a very long travel day (started 8am, ended past midnight) it's not hard to burn through 2.5 batteries for each of us.  And it's these situations that make me glad not to have an iPhone or even a Maxx.
I'm not trying to stick up for maxx here but I'm just saying that if u had a maxx (iPhone)  and u charged it with the car charger from when u got in the car then u would be just fine

Perhaps, though 99% of our BOS trip we covered on foot.

Not true at all!  All those things running at once will use the battery faster than it charges. You see the dilemma?

@CBS S3.
Based on reviews like this I don't think I would trade my GNex for an S3 even if that was an option:

His main complaint is the software, which is silly IMHO because it's Android you just root it and customize everything yourself anyway. It's not far better that the Gnex but it is definitely superior with out a doubt.

How is it superior?
Seems to have half the on-board memory and though the processor may be slightly faster I haven't had any lag time on my GNex so I don't see why that would matter.

And it sure seems like pure Android beats TouchWiz.

Wow and they thought it was the titanic!

Now I think I'm just gonna wait two months until I return from aroad to make my order for the upgrade. (Instead of pre ordering the s3 now) well see how many malfunction this thing has...

Touchwiz sucks that's why you root it. 1. The camera isn't even comparable. 2. The screen is clearly better. I think 4.8 is as big as it will get. 4. You can watch videos while doing other tasks for me that would be amazing as I use youtube to listen to channels but my phone is useless while I am doing that. 5. The processor is faster whether you notice a lag it now or not you will when you use a faster one.

These are just some specs that intrigued me. Obviously I never used the phone because I don't have one but if I could get it for the $175 I paid for my Gnex I'd have to consider it. (I have some complaints about the Gnex, but I won't mention them because I don't know if this phone will be any better.)

In 3 months or so the next Nexus device will likely be released with the new Jellybean OS.

Jellybean is slated for release in Q3 and should be released along with a Nexus device.

Based on my Samsung/Verizon experience 3M=9M (M-Months) BUT that is extremely exciting!!!

im curious what ur complaints are
Oh where to begin. #1 This may be just my phone or how much I use it, but the sim card is very annoying. Once in a while my phone will need a restart because the sim stopped working (A message appears saying such on my screen.) #2 The back is very hard to get on properly my bottom left corner is constantly popping out. #3 the music player glitches as if I am streaming. #4 Why do I need to use an app to dim my screen at night? There should be a setting allowing me to do this under screen display, or better yet it should be part of automatic adjustment. #5 It takes a while to turn on AND get service (This is where the faster processor should help.) 6. The camera focus isn't that great esspesialy in panorama

Those are off the top of my head...

Seems to have half the on-board memory.
16gig will be more than enough. With the cloud becoming so easy to use. You can upload all you music online and just stream it. And I have an app to automatically save all my pictures to a cloud. There really isn't anything you will NEED 32 gig for (Look at your phone right now how much free space do you have 20gig?.) Once in a while you'll back everything up to a computer or cloud and clear your phone if it's full..

Never had issues 1 or 2.  Issue 3 can occur when not in 4G, which is exactly why I put all of my music on my GNex and why I use up most of my 32GB.  Issue 4 has never bothered me, the auto-adjust is excellent IMO.  Issue 5 is true, don't know if that's a processor issue though.  As for 6, I never use a phone camera for a picture if I can help it.

#3- My stock music player has glitches some times. (I use it A LOT.) #4- If you don't fall asleep with your phone you wouldn't understand. #5- Obviously a faster processor would boot up faster no? even if there is a lag in service reception. #6- One day there will only be phone cameras (besides professionals) I am almost surprised that day hasn't come yet. If it weren't for how marketing works with all these electronics it would be.

#3 HUH? Maybe I am not being clear. You said you have all your music on your phone. So do I and I use the stock music player. What do you use for the music on your phone?
#3 the music player glitches as if I am streaming.

#6 Truth.
