IYO,
What is the advantages of buying the 32GB over a 16GB with a 64GB microSD card?
Should I spent the extra $50 & go 32GB or is the external card just as good?

I'd say external is just as good if not better.

has anyone realized that the camera lens on the razr maxx is smaller than a regular digital camera or iphone camera prob galaxy s3 as well.
its really annoying when your trying to capture a big shot if your not really far away.
any settings to change this?

Can you change it from widescreen to regular? What MP is it on now?

the settings in te camera app has a check by the widescreen option and under it, it says"6MP images to match the screen"
if i uncheck it just seems to make the screen smaller (and it says 8MP)

When u say it seems to make the screen smaller do you notice you see more in the shot? You probably have to leave widescreen off and that way you wont have to stand so far.

Hmm, odd. Most phones don't work that way. Can you post pics you took standing in the exact spot?

Most phones take a regular picture and when the setting is set to widescreen it is basically zooming in.
It seems yours is doing it differently.

ok i took two pictures and i now see what you mean ! i always thought that widescreen is better becasue it was bigger on my phone screen but without widescreen it seems better for many pics! - -if u realize that the horizontal part of pic is same but the vertical is diff
if i only i knew that a few weeks ago....600 + pics would be in better format and higher pixels... :'(

Yeah keep it off widescreen and your pics will be much better.  Its the  first thing I set whenever I get a new phone.

Nice pic btw. Where is that?

2 questions: Does the S3 have a sim slot?
What's the cheapest price for an S3 on a new line?

It does but apparently it doesn't work yet but will after a future software update.

Though there are ways after rooting to make it work.

I found on Craigslist someone selling a month old - new condition- white galaxy S3. Clean esn n all. For $300
Is that a good deal? Should I take that over my RAZR maxx.  (I'll try to sell my maxx on eBay or Craigslist. Also very new no wear n tear.
