Update: 6/16/15:
So I smed chase again and got the same response, denying to match to 140k. I then called Chase and got a very nice rep who tried to match it for me but was unsuccessful. It said in her system that they were only matching to 140k credit cards that were applied before April 30th. I applied May 14th. She then gave me 5k Ritz points as a courtesy and told me to try to call Ritz Rewards and ask them to replace my 2 free nights with the equivalent amount of points (probably not 140k). I did just that and the Ritz rep said she cannot do that. Blah blah.....
This really sucks <img src="http://s3.amazonaws.com/tapatalk-emoji/emoji35.png" />

Update: 3/23/15: Many recent reports of successful match to 140k offer via SM
Updated link: https://creditcards.chase.com/credit-cards/ritz-carlton-card.aspx
Standard offer is for 2 free nights at Ritz Cat 1-4 which is not too bad either.

Update 2/9/15: DEAD
current offer  140k bonus points +$300 airline credit annual fee 395 not waived
link https://www.theritzcarltonrewardscard.com/offer140k

To get $300 airline credit call 1-855-896-2222
don't buy gift cards from Chase affiliated airlines (United, SW..)
As Chase may be able to see what you purchased

JetBlue seat upgrades and delta seat upgrades worked for me.
Airline GC are very YMMV as there are reports of chase asking for receipts.
(Seat upgrades are officially covered in the T & C.)

Does your card provide the $300 airline incidentals?
I believe so.

CARD act only protects against first year, consider yourself lucky to not been charged it before, it's pretty YMMV for year 2 and 3, although many DP suggest year 3 you'll likely be charged

How soon after closing the card can I apply again? I closed the card less then a month ago and would like to get it again as part of a AOR. looking for DP's.
Please note, I am not asking about getting the bonus again (I got the card more then 2 years ago).

It's 24 months from receiving the bonus, nothing to do with when you close it, Chase just won't approve you for a card if you already have it open.

Thanks. How is the 24 months calculated? Is it from the day you sign up?

i got my af refunded on ritz card after transferring cl to a annual fee waived for the first year card meaning my ihg card in its fist year now I am trying to get rid of my annual fee on my ba card by transferring out the credit line to my annual fee waived for the first year card as well however I see it's the annual fee still don't come back yet. I think it may be because I transferred the cl months later when it was even to late to close the ba card and get the annual fee refunded is that the reason the annual fee didn't come back?

You didn't take the time to use any capitalization or punctuation besides for one random period in the middle of this paragraph long, run-on sentence. This post is seriously one of the worst I've come across in a while here (that's saying a lot) and is truly a pain to even read, let alone comprehend. Why should anyone take the time to answer your question if you won't take the time to write it in a coherent manner?

The annual fee on BA is too small for it to work. But let us know if you are successful.
