Made different accounts for each AU

Lol, it wasn't ideal but I really didn't have a choice, I need to add an amex offer that day.

Supposedly if the online account doesn't have a primary card attached to it, then it can only consist of 1 AU account.

Can it be any primary card or does it have to be the one the AU is for?

Not sure then. Sorry.

You just got those AUs? Try waiting a day or two if so.

My newly arrived AU wouldn't add to my existing account with primaries the first day, so I created temp online accounts. Then today I was able to add them. But I think my error message was different than yours.

A) Being added as an AU on an amex card is useless in terms of using the account age to boost your length of credit history. Amex AUs report as opened from time AU was added, not from when card was opened.

B) The credit score of the primary cardholder doesn't matter, but the history of the account you're being added to and going onto your report does. (Incidentally, since the history of a primary amex card doesn't go on the AUs report, it shouldn't matter tremendously if there's a negative in the past, IINM.)
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Thanaks, I'm not sure were I got that from that it will extend my credit life.
Is there another way to do it? It seems to be the only thing holding down my score

I added myself as an AU 50 times to my Amex gold but made the mistake of giving my social for each.
Anyone know how bad this is?
