Actually before I can even say anything, Oh we see your application is computer locked because you got approved for another application you did after this one. There is no way to bypass it.
Me: I really need it cause traveling, willing to move credit around, etc.
Amex: Sorry we have no way to do anything with this application until computer releases it which can't happen until after 5 days etcccccc

Any way to get around when they ask for a letter from your bank confirming your address?
sent them one, but it's missing... banker details, bankers phone #...

Did 2BM last night (with some help  ). One was instant approved one was delayed. Called today to follow up and without any prompting:

"Ordinarily there is a five day wait, but let me see if I can expedite that for you, sir....As a valued customer, I will also be shipping your card next-day shipping so you should have it by the weekend."

In the same boat as you. Prepped my wife for the call and apparently they said there's a 5 day wait period when applying for multiple cards (she applied for the SPG personal also and got approved). So now waiting and praying for the approval on the Biz...
