I called  recon for a  3BM where 1 was denied and 2 canceled. It was for someone with  642 FICO CS on EX and some negative items on the CR. They said they can only recon 1 at a time, and it may necessitate a new pull.

Is it YMMV?
For sure a new pull?
Or never a new pull?

Probably going to be a new pull.

If you recon them all on the same day, you can hope for the results of a 3bm - that the pulls all get combined.
If it doesn't automatically combine, there's always the "manual combine" option  ;)

I was told I can only recon 1 at a time, and the decisions for the other 2 will depend on the decision of the first.

Has it been working recently?
I haven't been able to get it done.
I would like to hear some recent reports before I spend time doing HUCA.

I have a 3BM with Amex with 2 "In progress" for 10 days already. They were originally denied, and I called to have them reconsidered. what does in progress mean? Does it always take so long? Can/Should I call in again?

I see very little discussion regarding overturning a denial by Amex. Anyone have any experience getting someone with minimal credit history who was denied for the a charge card overturned??

Can Amex charge cards be used as leverage?
Anyone have any such experience?
Basically/IOW, I want to know if I should just cancel, or first do an apporama..
TIA

AMEX called me today about my app for a 5th SPG card.

They said the new policy is max of 4 credit cards.  I currently have 6 credit cards+3 charge cards so I'd have to close 3 credit cards to get another approved.
Is that all personal cards? or a total of personal and business?

Is there any point calling amex reconsideration when the decision is pending?
