You said "there shouldn't be anything standing in your way." That is simply not true in many cases.
I never said it was easy but I stand by that statement. Life is short and if one wishes to become a dentist, I think there's a way. Again, I'm not saying its easy. It's really not, trust me I know. But I think it's doable.

@MnM
I hope it's not about the money. Every dr. Goes into big debt for schooling. It's part of life. Then you graduate and slowly pay back the loans. It's not worth it not to go for it because of the money IMO

I got my bachelors in 4 months with 30 yeshiva credits and taking tests. (In masters for special ed. Now)
Obviously it's not good enough to get into dentist school but there are many many courses you can do online etc. to expedite the process.

and what happens if you wudda had to start with no BTL- so from the begining begining, with debt already and 2 children in a country that you didnt grow up in- so even though fluent in english never went to studies in english... so even though money is a huge factor there are many many other things to factor is to see if many many years of debt is all gonna be worth it. And in this situation it is completely not. There are other things were workin on now though... thanks e/o

you cant get a BA in 4 months unless u have previous credits. He was in yeshiva so he got credits there. My husband went to yeshiva in israel in a non accredited school. Otherwise its completely impossible,

He only had 30 previous credits. He did 90 credits in 4 months, so he could have done it from nothing in 5 months. For the record I did the same thing in less than 4 months.

Never said they would. You need specific prerequisite courses for that...

thanks lots of good info.. was looking for this sorta thing.
YW! I earned about 16 credits from 4 daf gemara. Assuming your husband went to yeshiva that shouldn't take more than a week max, plus it's open gemara so even less... You do the math from there ;)

I also feel that going to a college would benefit him in the long run because schooling in english from the begining may be the best thing for him.. but maybe he can do both.. who knows. Im so new to this stuff- ive never been to college nor did i ever have any interest in learning about this sorta thing. But gotta help out here!
