I'm a dentist - graduated dental school about 2 years ago - If you have any questions PM me.
I'm looking into various degree options and have heard a wide range of prospective salary for dentists. Would you be able to shed some light on this topic?

The short answer is that there is a wide range of prospective salaries for dentists. Like any field, however much you put in, that's how much you'll get out.

To become an oral surgeon you have to sell your soul and first born. You better really want to become an oral surgery before committing to it. You can't just pick a career because it pays well.

I wouldn't go that far, but yes it is essentially like doing an intensive surgical residency from medical school.

FYI If you're practicing as a dentist you can deduct education expenses incurred to become an orthodontist.

Any dentist here familiar with the drink called "versed"
They want my kid to drink it before getting his cavity filled.
Anything I should worry about? Any kashrus concerns?

Nothing is guaranteed. Your gonna have to put in a tremendous amount of work bit he is an excellent teacher. Btw he doesn't do the math and reading section but has someone give like 2 sessions of each. That may or may not be enough for you especially for the math depending on your background

I just used his books and did Chad. I love Chad. It's a lot cheaper too. I know lots of people that used Romano and were happy but don't think for a second that its a absolute necessity.

Additionally I still recommend downloading a few prep apps. Taking his course is good but you still need mock exams.
