-A new program that awards how many Chase relationships you have (a la Citi TY checking plus bonuses for savings, money market, mortgage, credit cards, etc) is in the works.
-Signup offers are going to continue to mostly trend lower or have higher spend thresholds to hinder people signing up just for the bonus and not using the card.
-Don't expect Sapphire 50K to return.

Do you feel that they were being honest? is it possible that they know alot of your clientel is just for the signup bonuses hence their feeding you that info. maybe they rather people signup with lower bonuses before the big bonuses come out again. is that a possibility?

2. I hope the relationship awarding program doesn't hurt/kill the Exclusives bonuses on the Freedom cards.
3. The signup bonuses trending lower and spend requirements trending higher thing is nothing new, this started after the recent CARD act which changed how CC issuers hope to make their money (more focus on spend, less focus on debt).
