Bring food from Maple Grill on the plane and have 'em double wrap it and put a sticker on it to make it look official enough for CX to reheat for you. 
The food ex-YVR was awful.  Though I think that was in the process of changing, so let us know!
And don't be afraid to guilt the FA about the terrible food to get your burger and onion rings reheated.

You think we should bring food for a redeye even though we're eating en route to the airport?

Yep. Lynn was spectacular. In fact, if you proceed another 45 mins behind the bridge, there's a beautiful frozen lake which we visited. Probably 3 miles round trip.
