Anyone ever fly this airline before? Opinions and experiences?

They're the cheapest
AFAIK they only fly seasonal.

Starting in summer 2018, XL Airways will start selling JFK to TLV with a connection in CDG. XL is a LCC but includes a free bag, meal and entertainment options.

Good to have more low cost carriers flying from US to TLV, might push prices down.

I usually am up to date. So I browse the thread headers and don't search.

Maybe I should search but then I would miss out on such wonderful wit-full  comments like yours.

The Up in the Air forum doesn't have too many threads that are updated that often that makes it unwieldy to find such posts.

Unless I'm missing something they only fly seasonally once a week on sundays From CDG to TLV.

So this doesnt really help most of us

Has anyone every used XL airlines? How was your experience in general?

In specific, I'm concerned about the kosher meals. I'm booking a flight from Tel Aviv to NY (with a stopover in Paris).  They say that for the 1st leg (from Tel Aviv to Paris), that all of the meals are certified kosher.  However, I haven't been able to verify what the Hashgocha (if any) there is.  There's obvioucsly also the concern of them heating it in the ovens if they don't come double wrapped.

For the 2nd leg (from Paris to NY) they say that I could purcase a Kosher meal (by pre-ordering) for $16.  Once again, I  don't know about the Hashgocha on that either.

Any help would be much appreciated.
