I saw people asking but now I can't find where so I'm just posting here. I made 2 transfers from Citi to Qatar and the points I transferred were deposited immediately but the bonus points have yet to be deposited. However, since the transferred points post immediately it makes sense to transfer points to Qatar if you want to book AA flights. You'll easily be able to combine them with BA and you'll eventually get a 20%/40% bonus.
