My annual fee is up now and I would like to close the card, will they award the points for charges that didn't print on a statement yet? according to CS they wont. is that true?
Originally I asked them to close that account when the annual fee hit but then I realized that I have 10,000pts Still pending so I called right back and asked to reinstate the account,  now that my statement printed I received the pending points and my annual he was refunded, is it really that simple or will they catch up and re-charged the annual fee again ?

Open up a new Amex card and transfer balance to that card. If you don't want to open a card right now, you can wait till you are ready, Amex prorates the annual fee.

Can I transfer the entire balance?

Transfer to their SPG/Marriott and then to their BA account.

Why would you waste SPG on avois? You don't have UR?

I just got off the phone with Amex. My AF posted on my last statement so I called hoping for an offer otherwise I'd close card. I landed a $100 statement credit! Fair enough.   ;D

Anyone have a number of someone in Amex that can resolve a dispute that's just not working out for me. Merchant keeps winning with false evidence and I have evidence showing otherwise, but, Amex just doesn't give me the credit...

I'm going in circles...TIA
