The main differences are that the biz card gives loung access in Sheratons while the personal does not. Also the biz will not show up on your credit report while the personal will

It should still be possible to pull up 30k for the personal through incognito.

if you're doing SPG-SPG the address must match

Marriott allows transfers between any two accounts

If you have a specific stay in mind, you can call Marriott to transfer from one account to another, and they'll transfer and book for you over the phone even if your over the 50,000 point limit.

I've been out of the credit card game for about 3 years but I heard that Amex no longer gives the signup bonus if you've gotten it in the past.  Is this also true for business cards?  I'd like to get an SPG business for me and also my wife as we need to make some big purchases in hte next 3 months, but we've both had it in the past (probably cancelled both cards about 2.5-3 years ago).

Once in a lifetime bonus is what Amex says, what is a lifetime according to Amex? In my case it was 7 years, I received a bonus for a new card that I closed 7 years ago.

But does that apply to business cards?
