I first tweeted for the $20 off at provincetown deal then I checked in to a local business near me and added the special. Then went online to the foursquare mobile app and set my location as Provincetown, MA and checked in to puzzlemethis. Placed a $20.XX order online and already got the twitter and foursquare confirmations. Looks like I should be getting the free stuff plus a few $$ to boot

Doesn't say anywhere otherwise. I didnt either get notifications, after you synced was the offer still available? im thinking maybe thats why

I still haven't received my credits. Tweeted amex and was told to email registeredcardsupport@aexp.com
After emailing them, I got a response to please detail what offer it was and which merchant. I did so and never heard back from them. Emailed them twice since then and I never got a response. This is the second time I have done a promo (other was when sending $10 to Chabad NYU) and having to chase them for credits (all on a SPG Business card BTW).

I'm frankly a bit annoyed at having to do this... Did anyone else not receive it?
Also was it a 1 time promo? Meaning you can only get $5 off $10 once at that merchant and then can't use it again at any other merchants?

It was one time per card.  You couldnt keep charging $10 on one card at different merchants and keep receiving $5 credits
