went to santa monica place which is part of Macerich malls.
Concierge was very helpful.
they dont have gift cards for the mall they only have amex gift cards which they charge $3 for. so ur really only getting $7 off, but its easier to spend. ur not limited to their stores

wonder if that is true to for the other malls

i received a confirmation from amex about the purchase.

oh, didnt realize the shipping.
