Will I have any problem at customs bringing a small suitcase of frozen meat?

Yes.
You can't bring meat/fruits etc. to countries. These things are know to bring bugs/insects/diseases to countries. Hence the ban

I understand. I want to know if People have actually had a problem. I know it used to be done all the time.  Also what about cooked meats?

I've done it in the past and never had a problem. I've taken small suitcases JUST with frozen meat.

I have done it many times. Just I wouldn't suggest having a seperate suitcase for it, rather mix it in with other things.

I once checked a suitcase with El Al that was 70 lbs of just meat and ice. I get to Israel, and they can't find my bags. 3 days later they deliver my 2 suitcases to my yeshiva. This was in August. You were able to smell the suitcase from nearly a block away.

I am planning in taking some cooked and frozen items. I hope to get it frozen at a stronger than regular freezer and have dry ice. Any experience how long this should stay frozen?

have done it many times no problems. if it is frozen solid when you leave to the airport and you are flying direct you shouldn't have any problems (unless it gets lost)

+1 even on a stop-over
also I would suggest put the meat in a hot-cold bag together with the ice to prolong its freezness

@shmelly. was that experience that inspired your screen-name, shmelly :))

Its cute how the OP asked about one thing (customs problem)and everybody is answering about something else. (the frozen problem) basically if the customs stop you, you will have a problem. (Though prob not too serious in Israel)

FYI it was no problem at all israeli customs waived us right through without a second glance.  also, you don't have to fill out any paper, like when you go into USA.

You can always claim that the meat is a dress for your wife just like the singer hanikrah bla"z "ga-geh"
It is all from Hashem and he will continue to give!
