Awesome hookup, if it's true.

Not happening, with agricultural stuff they're not looking for duties, they're trying to prevent diseases from entering Israel.

i found them to be much worse in america coming from israle, esp succos time with the esrogim, they check every ones bag

Yes, it is. :D

Come visit me in Israel, and we'll have a nice BBQ...

So then why wouldn't "USDA approved" stamps help?

Don't worry about it to much. I bring in suitcases full of meat all the time. Only problem is if they lose your luggage. But customs no big. Just don't be stupid.
oh gosh what an odd piece of advice. The guy who sent the drugs to Japan had been doing it all the time, so he advised others to take it too. Untill ...

I just landed today and I had 1 seventy pound suitcase full of meat and one which had 60 pounds of meat and 10 pounds of drugs. Anyway I got stopped by customs and I got nervous and was ready to start a fight but they just put my bags through the machines and let me go. I don't know if they noticed it and let me go or just didn't see it and I wasn't gonna ask!

I once went to Israel with a Costco pack of 100 Bic lighters in my suitcase. When I got to Israel there was a note in my suitcase that they had confiscated the lighters as you can not put anything so flammable in the cargo area. The note didn't mention anything about the carton of cigarettes they stole from me though.

now be careful next time with whatever you bring in to IL
someone officially in the know told me they put your image in the system so every time you go through they would stop you
not 100% sure but better to be safe

How do they know it's you, is there some automated system?

I was once pulled over with over 50 pounds of meat, he let me go without saying a word.  :-\

He asked how much I paid for it, I said $300.... he called over someone who spoke english, and I told him that I set up PCs, and im here a long time so I bought one along.... Was pased thru...
