I would imagine that if they didn't pick up his order till now - it may actually slip through the cracks

I'm hoping this works! I had ordered one with my main email and as an afterthought ordered a 2nd with a diff email/cc/address.
I didn't even bother checking it until now assuming it was cancelled. 
Why would paypal make a difference?

Ok, so if HP allows name changes, anyone wanna buy quickly before I cancel???

The upside for HP is that they can show strong sales numbers in the this quarter and charge the losses to the third quarter, when sales spike up with back to school purchases."

It gets better! The charge on a Chase CC for the one that got cancelled is still showing in pending.
The one on an Amex for the one that's 'order in production' has posted to the Amex (not pending anymore!)

if that happened i would file a company how could they honor some and not others
