Any suggestions for where to go for a few days of vacation within driving distance of NYC?
-for me, my wife and baby. -withing 6 hours of NYC. -beach area preferred. -starwood hotels are a plus

Hunter ny and outlying towns R beautiful. No beaches but plenty of lakes. Check out cuomos cove.

Weather for Cape Cod Beaches is not good yet... its 51 now...

any good ideas for a family of 7?
dont even mind lounging at a nice pool in the hotel and would be nice to have a suite
2 nights and 3 days would be the max.
they have UR and MR to use at a hotel..
kosher food nearby is a plus

im doing Boston next week 8/24-8/26 family of 6. Flying them in on Avios, leaving a few hours before they fly and picking them up there. Plenty of Hotels and kosher food available. Using IHG at Indigo with outdoor pool.

Lake George has some kosher food

Other options, without kosher food: lake placid, can be combined with ferry to Burlington to visit Burlington / Stowe VT http://www.ferries.com/crossing-schedule-rates/burlington-to-port-kent-ferry
