They're a shtickle moody about that.  Sometimes they take sometimes they wont and come up with any excuse. And accepting cc is any ride. Not just airport. Ive found givat shaul taxi much better about accepting cc

The only time I've paid cc with them is when I called & requested it, when getting into a cab off the street most drivers try to get cash. They usually tell you a longer wait time for cc but the option exists, & for somebody coming from the airport it's a lot better to just pay cc than to exchange money there.

We are interested in having a driver (preferably armed) in a bullet proof van take a group of ten people on Motzai shabbos from yerushalayim to chevron- wait for an hour and bring us back.

Anyone know who we can call and how much would this cost?

Hoffman Tours, might be able to do it.

Has anyone stayed at the Ramada in Hadera? Seems to have great reviews(since the new grand opening). Seems to be really cheap if you use the Cash and points option for around 100 a night (3000+65)! Please let me know as I am considering it as an alternative to Netanya.

yes

We just booked there for three nights in February. The rate seems good (3,000 Wyndam +$65), and they allow 4 (maybe 5) adults per room (a suite, actually).  Food is Rabbanut Hadera, breakfast included.  Does anyone have any actual experience to share?

**UPDATE FROM PANGO – The Pango app is now more secure and no longer allows you to use an ID that is not connected to your credit card. At the moment there is no solution for tourists. **
Data point on this:

I used the Israeli phone number I had, with a relative's TZ, my own cc, and the license plate number of the rental car. Worked fine - used it 2 or 3 times. Only thing is, I forgot to remove the rental car and/or TZ from the account before I left. Any way to do this remotely? Is it even necessary, or will I wake up to charges somewhere down the line (or problems for my Israeli relative)?

I probably should've specified that I used Pango (though that is what I quoted). My data point was that contrary to the post I quoted, I used a relative's TZ with my american cc. The question that remains is how to remove the rental car from Pango. I should add that I lost the phone that had Pango installed and registered, so I can't just log into the app and remove it.

This isn't true (I am using a CSR now that is not connected to my TZ)

I wouldn't go to any of those for anniversary.
Lechem basar
Red heifer
Skyline
Or if you eat their hechsher - Gabrielles is prob your best option.
