Sim has been active for a while, so no data regarding that.
Unlocked S5
Only tried phone, but I'm sure others worked as well. I can try when I get the phone back next week.
Not sure why you need my data points, plenty of data points around the web that this works.
Also, why not just try it, there is no risk involved

I'm looking to buy some thermostats from Amazon.it.  Shipping to Israel is about 50 euro more than to the US because it includes an Import Cost Deposit.  Does anyone have any experience doing something like this.  Will the 50 euro cover all import costs and will the stuff get to me without me having to pay someone in Lod or Haifa to get it released for me?

Just ordered something from Amazon.com
All was covered by the import deposit and cleared customs without issue. I ordered October 25. They tried to deliver yesterday (wasn't home). They are delivering it today.
