As per the latest rumors/reports:
The iPhone 5 (or "The New iPhone")will be announced at an apple unveiling event on Sep 12 and will be released by VZW, Sprint and AT&T on or around Sep 21.

VZW and AT&T denied and blacked-out vacation dates for their employees on late Sep.

The iPhone 5 (or whatever it will eventually be called) will "most likely" (unconfirmed though) house the following features:

• iOS 6 (with over 200 new or modified features)
• 4G LTE
• NFC (mobile payments)
• Slightly Taller and Thinner built
• 4" Screen (currently 3.5")
• 19 pin charging dock connector (currently with 30pin)

will the verizon one be able to be locked? also i know its only speculation, whats the price u think verison can charge with an upgrade and w/o upgrade?

My opinion (and take it for what's its worth)
The price structure will be the same as with the iPhone 4S

In one sense I'm disappointed because I've been waiting to ditch my BB for no less than 6 months.

In another sense, I'm happy that apple actually has some good competition and even their latest phone will be somewhat trailing the latest android phones.

whats ur bb have to do? just ditch it then? take the leap, theyll be fights btw the apple and android enthusiasts, but everyone will agree ditch the bb

I can't tell if you're being serious.

To claim anything about a successor model to the "iPhone 5" at this point would be sheer folly.

ok pls direct me- maybe ill get sprint (isnt verizon better?) im new to this whole cell phone thing!!
