Awesome gadget: Bloothoth gloves, super cool!

These are launching in Italy for 49 EUR, hopefully $49 or so when they launch in the US.

IMHO, cool, yes. awesome, not so much.
it doesn't have some of the basic convenience of a regular BT
I as a geek would actually considering getting one, when not for the fact that I never use gloves even on winter

my advice:don't purchase a pair before it really kicks in, unless you wanna look like the craziest person in town. or like my 2 year old pretending owning a cell

The article on engadget was less than flattering. Dropped calls and trouble hearing? Not worth looking like a fool for. Also, these glove are not water proof, making them highly impractical. Pass.

One of the main uses for bluetooth is so that you can keep your hands empty to do other things, this does not accomplish that.  I think its very cool but not nearly practical enough for its price to be worth it to me.

If it's warm and waterproof, it's a glove. If it allows you to answer calls and talk, it's a BT. If it does both in one, it's awesome!

What's the problem? What makes the two inherently mutually exclusive?

Issue is, it doesn't work with both hands. You'll get a sore elbow.

I've never used Yugster before they seem to be one of these daily deal sites. I have a friend who loves them and saids they're pretty reliable although it can take a few days to ship some times.
