True but it's still much better to leave from terminal three that has better arrival possibilities (train, bus etc'). It also has shorter lines for security and it has the lounge!
IME, T1 had shorter lines for security, as fewer flights leave from there. (Of course, if many fights are leaving at the same time, lines will obviously be longer, but that's true for T3 as well). And for me, it's much easier to arrive as the parking lot is right there

The low cost flights leaving from T3 are usually at hours that very few flights are taking off which leads to very short lines.
There is parking right next to T3 as well. They also have the train stop so you can park your car by the train station for free, hop on a train for a few Shekel and arrive right at the terminal.

Currently for parking long term (the way you park when you drive yourself to the airport when flying), you need to go to a lot and wait for a bus. For T1 you park right there. In this respect, T1 is much more convenient.

Unless you are only going for a few days, it makes no sense to park at the airport. You can park for free 1 train stop away from the irport and take the train for 10 shek.

It costs 40 shekels a day to park. it costs at least 300 shekel back and forth from Jerusalem by taxi. That's the math I use.

I've never considered parking a stop away and take a train. I can imagine it's probably a hassle. How often does the train go? Can you provide some more info?

You can park at T3. It just costs more. As it would cost me 600-700 sheqels for a round trip by taxi, it is well worth the 80 sheqels a day that it costs. No shuttle bus either. You park right next to the terminal. As you approach the terminal bear left. Go down the slip road towards the "meet and greet" parking, but then bear left again. You can then enter either the first car park block (pardes) which is better for EL AL flights, or to the next one along (kerem) which is better for airlines whose checkin is towards the left hand side of the checkin hall. Bets level to park IMHO is level one, as you go straight from your car to the walkway that takes you into the terminal, without having to cross the traffic.

Can one access the lounges at TLV with just their INK card, or is a priority pass required? Economy ticket

Don't believe so, but may be wrong. Typically PP lounges swipe.
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

they may make issue about different first name
But this particular lounge definitely allows access by punching in the numbers even without the card present.

Just Dan. Only BA and UA91 have access to Dan+.

Its the same exact thing for the record though, its just smaller and maybe a little less crowded.

Thanks!
Unbelievable that CX J gets the same access as every low cost passenger with almost ANY American or Israeli credit card.

Lol. What's surprising is that some old timers still work on getting status from airlines just for the lounge access.

I did that once a couple of years ago and they let him in.
