Just to give chizzuk to those still trying. I received the following today (after several SM's back and forth):   

Thank you for your follow up email.

I am pleased to advise that I did add 20,000 points to the
account number noted above so that it receives a total of
30,000 points for an enrollment bonus. You will see this
adjustment on the next statement. This adjustment is
available for redemption now.

I wrote twice to request an additional 20k for my recently opened Chase Freedom. Finally, on the 3rd message I received the following:

Dear Elite Flyer,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us again in 
regards to the Chase Freedom 30,000 point enrollment bonus
offer.

Unfortunately, we are unable to comment on actions taken 
on other cardmember accounts.

I have confirmed that the online Chase Freedom 30,000 
point enrollment bonus offer expired in March 2012. Our 
records show that your account was not opened within 90 
days from March. Therefore, your account does not qualify
for the higher enrollment bonus offer. 

As a one time exception, I would be happy to add the 
20,000 points once you meet the $500 spending threshold 
within the first 93 days from your account open date. 
Once you have met the $500 spend, please contact us again 
to have the 20,000 points added to the account.

Going forward, please note that in order for us to match a
higher online enrollment bonus offer, the offer will need 
to be a active offer and your account will need to be 
within the 90 day timeframe from your account open date.

It used to be matched easily when it wasnt an online offer...recently dont know how succesful people have benn

account is enrolled on an offer to receive 10,000 bonus
points once you complete purchases worth $500.00 within
the first 93 days. Since you have completed the purchase
requirements, the bonus will be received within the next
1-2 billing cycles.

The promotional offer for new applicants keep changing
periodically based on market conditions and campaigns.
Therefore, we are unable to match the 30,000 points offer
to your account.

I understand you may be disappointed and I am sincerely
sorry for any confusion. Please know that we will consider
